I Have A Law Degree But I Am Not A Lawyer
May 16 I joined about 100 future lawyers graduating with JD degrees from Bowen Law School. I was the only graduate receiving the obscure Master of Studies in Law (MSL). Two years full time and the final year part-time led me to this, my final formal academic effort. I have to say there are a lot of impressive youngsters (ages 21 to 40-something) in that crowd. The school was a challenge to my aging brain, but I did enjoy the journey. NOW... back to old retired guy keeping the wife happy.

Y'all are not gonna believe this, but in August 2023 I became a student at Bowen Law School, UALR. Let's see if I can make it through the three year program. Just over 100 in the class. I am the oldest, and the youngest is 19.

At the end of June 2018 I retired from MITRE. Now my primary responsibility is staying out of Kay's way around the house.
